Artist: Birdeatsbaby

CD: "Bigger Teeth"

--

Last year I reviewed Birdeatsbaby's full-length debut "Here She Comes a Tumblin'".

I loved this Brighton quartet's CD and was very excited to receive their new "Bigger Teeth" EP in the post.
The recipe is still the same: piano-driven tales of heartache & strength, vocalist/keyboardist Mishkin is still the focus and the compositions are still tight, still complex but poppy. There's still melancholy but the songs are still ebullient and snotty.
And I still love it.
Birdeatsbaby has all the right elements to make it.

This is a perfect time to get into this band, this EP is cheap (only £2.50 for the digital download, £5 for the CD itself) and you'll be able to say you were ahead of the curve on digging a band that on the cusp of becoming *the* cabaret-rock band.

Also Recommended.
