DIY Compass

Here is the compass I created to go with my Sepiachord Navigator outfit

First you start with a basic compass.

This one Is plastic and I got it at the army surplus store

Also pick up some brass or copper texture-creating spraybaint to give the finished compass an older metallic look. Also pick up a length of chain to secure it to your jacket.

Connect the chain to the compass.

Close the casing and give the compass outside a good coat of paint on both sides. Include the chain when yu spray it to make it seem like the same metal.

When dry, I drew the Sepiachord logo on the front of my cumpass and connected it to the jacket. Other alternates, find clock pieces and glue them to the top of your compass. I woulld prefer to do this before you straypaint to give it an unusually mechanical feel yet still have one tonal color quality.

Nothing to this project and it is a very nice accessory,
